The Greater Seattle Coin Show was held this weekend at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Free Adm. and Free Parking (can't beat that)

I saw mostly numismatic coins ( Morgans that were not slabbed were most popular )
One guy had a bunch of military medals for sale.
One guy had a roll of 1/10 oz Krugs for sale.
One guy had a shoe box full of slick walkers for sale. There was no individual price tag anywhere on them so I did not ask.
One guy had a 10 oz Gold Suisse Bar for sale!
One guy had a display case of non-slabbed large cents for sale
One guy had about 50 Gold French Angels for sale (wanted $97.00 apiece for them)
One guy had a box of Standing Liberty quarters for sale. He wanted $3.00 a piece for them. Call the cops thats highway robbery!
I had to buy something... So I got myself a 1/4 oz. Maple for $112.00
I tried to jew the dealer down to $110.00 but he was not budging. :D
You see up here in the Pacific Northwest we all have alot of respect for those pretty 24K Maples. :cool1:

It was fun! We will do it again sometime! :character

From the pics, it looks like you could roll bowling balls down the aisles and no one would get hurt.....anyone show up??? I wonder how road show dealers make it these days...too many risks and expenses to argue with someone over 2 bux on a bullion piece...make better money ebaying the stuff...

In all fairness those pics were taken only an hour after they had opened up this morning.
Most likely more people showed up yesterday than were going to show up today.

A few dealers were selling gold plated Sacajewa dollars for over $100.00 each.
Who in their right mind would buy crap like that? Sheeeeeez :withstupi

As they say there is a sucker born evey minute!

Looks like quite the bracelet there. Can't quite make out all the coins but it looks like about one of every denomination US gold coin from a $2.50 reverse struck Indian to a $20 Saint.

Not to mention that herkimer of a chain, wow. Is that what the kid's these days call bling ?

What dare I ask was the asking price for that baby ?

I didn't ask how much they wanted for that bracelet.

Probably between 5k and 10k though.

Just had to ask.

I wouldn't mind having a complete set like that myself someday, all MS 64 or better.

They would look more like a collection of key chains hanging in their slabs though. Hardy har har.
